NDIS verification audits with QIP – fixed cost, expert guidance, and efficient processes.
The NDIS Verification Process
To apply, go to the NDIS Commission Provider Portal and create an account. Provide details about your business, key personnel and qualifications. Select your ‘registration groups’ that describe the types of services you provide. The NDIS Commission will review your application and determine how you must meet the NDIS Practice Standards. The NDIS Commission will determine and provide your initial ‘scope of audit’.
Complete a self-assessment within the Commission’s portal. This involves uploading supporting evidence and documentation to demonstrate how you meet the outcomes in your scope of audit.
Note! Once you click ‘submit’, your application is underway and cannot be retrieved.
You'll then need to contact QIP to conduct a verification audit.

Contact QIP for a one-time, flat-rate price to complete your NDIS verification. We’ll need some basic information to begin the process.
You can make the purchase immediately via our e-form or request a quote to accept and purchase later.
Contact QIP via email ndis@qip.com.au or phone 1300 888 329.
Once your payment is received and you’re onboarded as a QIP client, you’ll be ready to begin the audit process. QIP requires evidence demonstrating how you meet the NDIS Practice Standards outlined in your audit scope. You provide this by uploading relevant information and documentation to QIP’s client portal.
Your QIP Client Liaison Officer is available to guide you through the process. Additionally, you can refer to the QIP Verification Evidence Guide for examples of suitable information and documentation.
Note! Once you click ‘submit’, your evidence is marked as ‘ready for audit’ and cannot be retrieved or modified.
A QIP Auditor – a qualified and experienced disability and human services professional – will conduct a
thorough desktop review of your submitted evidence to verify compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards.
The auditor will prepare a detailed report, highlighting any non-conformities (addressing these may incur additional costs).
The report undergoes an independent technical review and is provided to you for your feedback before finalisation.
Once the audit is complete, QIP submits the final audit report and a recommendation to the NDIS Commission for their assessment and final decision.

The NDIS Commission reviews the outcomes of your audit and conducts a suitability assessment of your organisation’s key personnel. This evaluation is based on the information submitted in your original application and self-assessment.
The NDIS Commission considers all applications and makes final decisions on a case-by-case basis.
If your application is successful, the NDIS Commission will issue you a Certificate of Registration, which includes the types of supports and services you are registered to provide, the registration period (normally 3 years), and any conditions of maintaining your registration.
You will be listed on the NDIS provider register allowing you to market and expand your business, reach a broader client base, and proudly display your NDIS Registered Provider status.
If your application is unsuccessful, the NDIS Commission will tell you why and you can request a review.
